Ly6 Engine
I have been looking at Ly6 engines lately and they are quite cheap used and make a good amount of power. I was thinking that it would be a good engine to use in a 1970 Camaro I plan on restoring does anyone know any details on this engine and what I would need to make about 475-525 rwhp with one. Any comments are welcome. P.S Must keep fuel injeted
(I was thinking fast 102mm intake,102mm throttle body, cam, ported heads, bigger injectors, something to get the compression ratio up, good tune,)

Dunno how gm v8s work, but you may end up with an issue on the vvt. With the vvt sixers, the cam journals are different to allow for the cam phaser. Also, this complicates wiring and will make tuning a nightmare. According to gm, the vvt is worth a 3% increase in fuel economy The lq4 is the generation of the block beforehand, may want to check that out instead. Same displacement, same potential, no vvt issues
