how much am i lookin at.
I got a couple of questions. In a month or two i am going to be buying another vehicle for a daily driver and im gonna dive into the iroc. the valve seals are leaking and causeing some smoke at start up so im gonna pull my heads and replace them and while they are out im gonna do a port/polish job on them. I also plan on swapping cams while im in there. My main question is what is a good cam for the LB9? And also with a port/polish and a cam along with the bolt ons in my sig what kinda power am i lookin at. o yea and besides my signature i gutted my air boxes and got some k&n filters for a little better air flow.

It's pretty hard to say what kind of power you're going to see if you don't have any cam specs or head flow specs. The amount of power that you're making is going to depend on those things. I don't know enough about the motor to recommend a good cam for you, but it's all going to boil down to what you use the car for. If it's a daily driver you're going to want to go for something that has at least 112 LSA or greater (114 is probably better) and doesn't have a lot of valve overlap. If it's a track car you can easily run 112 LSA and large duration cam since it's not something that you're going to need a lot of vacuum to run breaks etc. at stop lights. There are a lot of considerations that go into choosing top end components, everything from cam profiles to head intake port volume are all going to effect how the car drives.

well its not going to be a daily driver but be driven quite a bit.. im lookin to draw the most power i can from a 305.. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...p;autoview=skuthis is what i was thinking, what do you all think? i dont wanna spend a ton on a cam because im gonna start building up a 350 next year or so. i just want a good reasonably powerful 305 for now.
