Angry Help? Valve Seals???

Ok, im in the middle of re-bilding my heads, and I need help getting the exaust valve stem seals on. Luckily, I got two sets, bc I've broken 6/8 spares trying to find a way to get them on. They get stuck in the 2nd ridge on the valve (where the o-ring sits), and they crack when I try to push them past that point.I'Ve tried persuading them with a deep well socket and a hammer (which worked for the inteke valves), I've tried oiling them, and heating them up (to soften them). All of these attempts failed. So im out of ideas. Anybody know a way that works?

Yea, all of the fectory seals for both the intake and the exhaust look like this
but the kit i got only had ^ those kind for the intake, and \/ for exhaust

What i ended up doing was buying a 2nd kit and putting the blue ones on all the stems (thats the way the factory did it)

Are those positive-stop viton seals? If so don't you have to have the head machined with a narrowed area around the top of the valve guide to accept that style if they're stock?
