Default head questions

so the engine in my car is completly torn apart... the heads are out and i found where the gasket let go. but anyways im trying to decide to go with SA or NSA rockers and i have a few questions. First off are the studs pressed in or will they back out? Tried unscrewing one but it didnt budge and i didnt want to break it if it was pressed in. the other question is if i go with NSA and guideplates, what is the machineing that is required.. if any? or should i just go with SA rockers?

Thanks

the studs that are in the head should just be twisted in, the problem is is that it is in there extremely tight, you should heat them up and they should come right out, as far as the different types of rockers, you should be able to install any type of rockers that you want and there will not be any machining involved.

Heated them with a propane torch for a few seconds and they came right out. Im going with NSA roller rockers and GMPP guideplates... everythings on the way from summit hopefully it will all be back together next week...

btw i know this is the wrong section for this but does anyone have input on PCMforless tunes? or should I try to find someone with a dyno to tune it??

Thanks

PCMforLess does a good job, but you'll always get more power out of a tune on a dyno because it's specific to your car.
