Default Decent Cylinder Head Question

Hey guys,

I have a 68 Camaro with a basically stock 454 .30 over, Flat top pistons and stock heads Mild Hyd Flat tappet Cam, Edelbrock AirGap intake and Holley 4150- 750Cfm DP carb as well as a MSD Ignition and long tube headers.

It has 12 bolt posi 373 gear and a M21 Muncie 4 Speed.

Car runs good but just seems torquey but lazy.... I think a good set of heads would really wake this motor up!

Since it has flat pistons and stock heads I think I prolly get a head with a small cc maybe 110? that will bump compression up a bit...

All I'm doing with this is cruise and jump on it ocassionally and rev limter is set at 5800RPM

Do I need to buy the best heads or are some of these cheaper heads fine for what I want...? Or do I still need to pay 2200.00 for Edelbrock or Trickflow...etc

Like these on EBay:
Big Block BBC Chevy 300cc Oval Port Aluminum Heads Assembled BBC Oval 272 | eBay

Is Anyone running Procomp Heads? any issues?

here is the Head Edelbrock recommened... but pricey

Edelbrock Performer RPM 454-O High-Compression Cylinder Heads 60439 - Free Shipping on Orders Over $99 at Summit Racing

Any Head Suggestions?

And whatkind of HP should I expect out of a head upgreade? I was hoping to be high 400s or even 500? is that achievable with my set up?

Thanks
