I'm thinking about getting a first or second generation camaro for a daily driver and I need it to be reliable. With this said, a crate engine will be needed once I purchase the car. I have $2,000 on me now and my parents are going to help me out a little. How much is a crate engine? I've heard you can swap the original engine for a crate engine and then just pay the difference. Are there any details on this such thing?
