Unhappy Coolant on foot. Please help!

While driving my 69 Camaro yesterday I noticed coolant on my floor mat! I am guessing a quart or so soaked my rug with more dripping out on the engine side. (I am not a mechanic) I see a coolant (?) hose going into the firewall and one coming out. I assume this is where the problem lies. This is not what I need to see just as I was going to try to sell.

Could someone shed some light on a likely cause of this and how big of a job it would be to fix? I have an LT1 for an engine. Thanks for any help.

Jon

More than likely it's your heater core leaking. If yours is a summer only car (I hope), you can loop the heater hose and bypass the heater core.

Thanks for the input. That makes perfect sense and sounds like a simple fix.
