Yeah. We already have a bonneville engine with about 80k miles on it that I can (hopefully) us. Just trying to figure out if it's worth having them work extra to do all of the changes rather than just going out and buying a camaro engine :/. Idk how much longer it'd take is really the problem.

Frankly if I had an engine out and sitting on the ground I'd want to reseal everything, the intake and valve covers etc would all have to come off anyway.
It's a hell of a lot easier to do new gaskets and seals on an engine that's out of the car than to fix a leak that pops up later.
I'd probably spring for new belts hoses and plug wires, maybe a waterpump or any other accessory that's hard to get at with the engine in the car.
Spending a little more on that sort of thing can save a lot of headaches and money later and give you a lot more reliable ride.

Agree with Y2K. Even if you get a donor camaro engine, best to put in new intake manifold gaskets, valve cover gaskets, etc. and the rear main.

Well the engine is still in the bonneville but hmm. Still just trying to figure out what the best option overall would be. I just bought this car and have barely any money leftover for repairs plus a car payment coming up in a few weeks so im pretty tight on funds for anything extra at the moment :/

Well I say do it right,an engine overhaul gasket set isn't a lot of money and comes with all the seals and gaskets needed for a complete reseal.
You say you already have a low mile engine, seems like a no brainer to me.

How much more do you think they'd charge to have that done? I'm figuring I might as well get a new klutch put on, too... *while you're down there..* :/
