HI SCAREFACE69CAMARO YES YOU WILL REQUIRE A FLYWHEEL OR FLEXPLATE AND A BALANCER FOR THE BALANCING
PROCESS YOUR MOTOR WILL BE FINE WITHOUT BALANCING AS ALL THE PIECES ARE CLOSE FROM THE FACTORY
YOU BALANCE A MOTOR TO GET THE PARTS TO WORK IN HARMONEY WHAT DOES HAPPEN THAT ALL THE PARTS ARE EVEN
AND THIS HELPS ON BEARING LIFE AS ALL ROTATING PRESSURES ARE EVEN I WILL SAY THAT BALANCING A MOTOR IS ONE
OF BEST INVESTMENTS YOU CAN MAKE IN BUILDING AENGINE
HOPE THIS IS SOME HELP TO YOU HAPPY MOTORING

For a normal balance job on a internally balanced 350 you do not need the damper or flex plate to have it done. Externally balanced engines like the 400 require the damper and plate unless they have been changed to a internally balanced crank.
