Default Cam Question ?

Hey guys i have a 2000 z28 and im looking into getting this cam http://texas-speed.com/shop/item.asp...6&catid=20it is recommended to get the valve spring set but could you get away without getting it on a stock motor. also if i were to get parts what do you think would be a good price for install

idk where u live but if its anywheres near st.paul minnsota i can get it done for u veryyyyyy veryyy cheap....

nah no where near there lol im in jersey thanks for the offer is there anything esle ill need along with the cam beside valve springs to get it running beside having it tuned afterwards?

nope just call texas speeds and get that kit and after it is put in get it tuned and u will be very very happy my buddys 02 firehawk has the same thing and thats wat i wanna get with that came and long tube headers he is at 410 rwhp and thats the only things done to the car not to bad i.m.o and plus it will sound great ahhhh i can hear it now lol gl with it

well it is the biggest cam for the ls1 so ur gas milage will change some but my buddy drives it everyday an i never hear him ***** about it, ask texas speeds when u buy it about a stahl and wat size u should get and a trans cooler, but just drive it nice and dont get on it alot until u need to lol
