alt problems?

ok so i only run one belt on my 355 it runs the alt,wp/fan,crank.just a vbelt..i keep spinning my belts..when u look at the alt it looks like its a little off it sets bak towards the engine a little bit..the engine is out of a 1970 camaro..i did buy a whole new alt bracket for it and the original one and the new one both did the same thing..is there 2 diffrent brackets for the sbc engines or somthing wat am i doing wrong here?

try using spacers to even them all up. you can also look at a couple of recent threads on this same subject for ideas instead of having to repeat

If you can't get the pulleys lined up, try going to a fatter belt and deeper pulleys.
