Default 91 Camaro 6 cylinder won't start

My 91 Camaro 6 cylinder won't start. In troubleshooting, We've determined that the problem is somewhere around the distributer as there's sparks on one side and not the other. The problem we have is that we're not sure if the problem is the module or the coil. We first thought the module, but there are a few sparks. So we think that maybe the coil isn't giving out enough energy to truly spark. We don't want to spend all the money on different parts so any help anyone can give us would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Are you trying to say there is spark going from the coil into the distributor, but no spark at the spark plugs?

If the coil is putting out a good spark, them make sure the rotor and distributor cap are OK. Check spark out of the coil with a cheap spark tester. Blue spak is good, white to orange is bad.
