4 cylinder camaro
a freind of mine and I recently junked my trashed out 86 camaro after it was parted out. took it to a local junkyard. after we had the car junked , we went walkin around the junkyard lookin at different cars and trucks. we got to a certain part of the yard where there were like 15-20 camaros and T/A's all but 2 or 3 looked to be in great body shape, interiors on a most of them were in average to bad shape. one of them i saw when i popped the hood was a 4 cylinder engine. i know they made the 4 cylinder camaros in the early 80's , just wandering if they are rare, and if they are even worth anything.

2.5 iron duke baby. It was the base model 82. We had sold a few of them. They had to put them real cheap to get rid of them. As for the value, sometimes rare cars are worth money and sometimes the reason they are rare is because no one wanted them. I think this falls into the latter group.
We had an iron duke in a boat once. 23 ft. deck boat, and it would pull 2 skiiers!
It's a heck of a good 4 cyl engine. But, Chevy should never have put any type of 4 cyl. in a Camaro, it just ain't right. As far as I'm concerned, that 4 cyl is good to use as a boat motor, or a boat anchor!
