Default 383/350 newbie question

Ok guys, new to the bowtie crowd, i've always had the blue oval..but i got a few questions.
I just bought a 95' z28, which contains the LT1, which is basically a 350, correct? Now, isn't the 350 strokable to a 383? Can this be done with the LT1. If so..what good companies are offering a kit? and if i have a lt1 with around 80k on it, will stroking it improve the realibility of the motor also?

Reliability depends on the parts used and the amount of pressure you're putting on the engine. If you're going for high compression with high RPM's then the engine will wear down faster and possibly break sooner. If you're going for low rpm and low compression (less power) then you'll have good reliability until something fails from stress or age (usually).

A 350 can be stroked to a 383 but the block and rods must be cleared for the larger stroke. I know an LS can be stroked so I see no reason that a LT can't be.

Just found this with a quick search on google:
