Default Newbie Question.

First I would like to say hello I have been reading alot of post and helpfull info on this forum. I have a 95 Z28 Im the third owner I have had it for about 6 months it is completely stock exept for the radio. Eventually I will be putting on a catback exhaust possibly Magnaflow. I heard some clips on youtube but I want to hear one with my own ears not speakers. My question is about a K&N cold air intake since it sits pretty low in the front fender did enyone have any problem with the cone getting wet while driving in the rain and hitting a puddle of water. Also my speedomider says 155 will it do 155 or does it have a speed limiter. The tires I have on are not the original tires so I don't know if they were Z rated.

I have had no problems with my SLP, and it sits in the fenderwell area. There are plastic shields beneath it, to help keep the water out.

You're not going to have any issues with water getting into your intake, it sits under a splash pannel, so no worries there. As far as your speedo, if it has the 150 mph speedo it's not speed limited. More than likely the car is going to hit redline before you get to 155, but if you have the power you can get as high as your gears will let you.
