hey i have a 84 camaro and i came across a good deal on a 6.0 out of a 2000 chevy silverado 2500 and want to put it in my car i was thinking i could find a carb and intake combo for it but cant find much what else would i need to do to make it compadable thanks

 

You will need to make sure you can drop a distributor in there. Not sure if the camshaft for those have the gear at the rear for a distributor setup or not since they use a camshaft position sensor. Don't quote me on that since I've never seen a cam for one of those. Maybe they do have the gears on the cam for a distributor. You will also need a controller box for the distributor to read the pickup and control the firing. You'd also need to either change out the fuel pump or put a regulator on it to control the fuel pressure since fuel injection systems have pretty high pressure running in them.

Off the top of my head that's all I think you need.
