Default 3.4 engine blocks

Is my 3.4 in my 95 the same block as the dual overhead cammed one in a 95 monte carlo?

if the monte calro is a 60* based engien than it should be, but if it isn't than I don't know. The deal with the overhead cam is that if you go to modifiying it you have to pay 4Xs the amount for cams. Especially when one good cam from crane cams will put your 3.4 on top of the v8s.

The Monti's block cannot be mounted on the Camaro without a lot of work as it has different mounting bosses. The twin cam engine has been abandoned and very few performance parts are available. You can install the heads and intake manifold from a 3.4 OHV engine on the Camaro block, and with a good cam make more power than the twin cam motor made.
