Default 1987 Camero - Brake Master Cylinder

I just bought an 1987 Z28 Camero with 130000 miles. It runs great but it needs a new brake master cylinder. They are like $80 at autozone which is no problem, and lucky the master cylinder is in easy reach. The problem inlays in doing the job of replacing it. You have to drain the break fluid, I never done this before and I am very weary of doing this myself I dont want to have any problems with my breaks like not having them work at all. So should I look up how to do it and try it myself or just take it an auto shop? How hard is it and is there really a big risk?

The Problem Isn't The Draining ... It's Getting Air In Your Brake Lines. Your Gonna Get Some Air In Your Lines No Matter What. You Just Have To Bleed All The Air Out After You Change It. Each Brake Caliper Has A Bleed Valve. If You Don't Know How To Bleed Breaks, Might Better Find Somebody Who Does. It's Not All That Hard Just Takes A Little Expeirence. I Can Tell You How To Do It But, If You Don't Do It Right , You'll Never Get All The Air Out. If You Want To Cut Cost Just Get A Master Cylinder Rebuild Kit. It Probably Cost About 10 Bucks And Isn't Too Difficult To Do. Sick
