Well, I didnt mean avoid them at all cost,what I shouls have said was be carefull around the edges......Remember he did call it "all the pores" so it would probably be best if he just stuck to wax. it is easy to burn through or sand through paint............But hey, isn't that how you learn, it's how I did.

 

I learned that way too.
But I have seen some really bad jobs before. And entered in the Autorama. I remeber a black car and this person used 1/2 tape, rubed the car and left thick peel all along the edges.

 

Bet that would have been nice to see, kinda like racing stripes,or lace around the seams.
