What do you mean by filling all the pores??? The paint shop should already haverubed the paint out and waxed the car. Just wait around month and then put another good quality wax on it.

^ what he said. You shouldn't wash the car for 30 days or apply anything to the paint so the paint FULLY cures. The time span is reduced if you have hotter weather. What company are you having it painted with, and how much did they charge you?

The paint shop may not rub it and will not wax it. You wont want to wax it for at least 30 days. Anything that seals it will not allow the paint to breath and cure proper. You can wash it. You dont want to let bird**** bake on and eat its way into your paint and water helps it to cure. You dont think a body shop washes it before delivery.

and stay away from the corners and edges.
And you get a nice outline of orange peel around all your body panels.
Keep the polisher trailing and not leading on the edges and you can buff up to them.

when they say its a extra $400 to do a perfect wet-sand and buff, dont hold back...pay it,if you dont know how to do it.....remember it seperates show cars from awesome to really nice, some dont even know that they have orange peel, once its gone it is unreal looking, and yes the edges must be done too,and tell him to do the bottom of the car too....
