Cleaning the engine bay of my 94 z28 ?

Default Cleaning the engine bay of my 94 z28 ?

Im picking up my 94 Z28 thursday and the enginebay isnt the cleanest i was told to use simple green, let it soak in, then use a mist wash to clean everything then immeditaly dry it, is this correct ?!?!?

I like using that aromour all tire foam in mine after it's pretty much clean to give it a little shine.

Yeah you're on the right track with simple green or that purple cleaner. Just use like a stiff bristled paint brush to get in the tight spots, and when you rinse it use a fine mist not a straight stream.

dont DRENCH the engine bay. mist or fire hose style. things wont end well if you do that. Use mist as dallynchmob said, but also use minimal water. Dry with a towel of time kind. let it sit for a few hours. then start it up. Dont be suprised if you run across a problem if you have any kinds of leaks on the engine.
