i wanna do it but im not sure about sanding the alumin because a low grit would just scrath it wouldnt it? and if i dont sand it i will just get paint drips all over them

Sand them wet with a scuff pad and comet... thats all you need. Then wash em with dishwashing liquid and let em dry really good.I've done it several times man, I promise you it will work.

Speaking of photoshoping. Give me a good picture of your car from the side and a good picture of the rim you want from the side and I could photoshop them in nicely as if they were actually on the car.

thats the only picture of the car that i have and those were the rims i was gonna do it too...ill take some more pictures of my baby tomorrow

and i painted the rims on my winter beater flat black, left the lip and lug nuts silver finish (I used Hi-temp engine enamel)

just sand the rim down, spray the paint (I would use gloss in your case) put 2 coats on, and then put 1 or 2 coats of clear spray (wetsand in between all coats)

im jealous but i really dont wanna buy new rims so i figured why not spray paint them

yea really it's kind of hard to **** it up

I did my avenger rims in ~30 mins while the rims were on the car.

i'm gonna sand them down off the car and apply a gloss black and a few coats of clear sometime to make them look better
