black rims

RE: black rims
I am not a big fan of black wheels on a black car. The wheels are the only thing that sets the black color out. My opinion.

Everyone and their brother will tell you that you can't paint aluminum wheels, but I'm here to tell you that you can. Take em off the car, its alot easier... sand em with a scuff pad (you can get em at wal-mart or any parts store.. its the marroon or green pads in the paint section).. scuff em up really good.. wash em really good.. let em dry really good, preferably in the sun... then mask off the tiresand apply light coats... I found that the Rustoleum paint works best. I've never painted wheels black though.. I've always used the aluminum color and my wheels looked brand new when I finished. Good luck Bro.. Hope it works out for ya.

Just as told you black wheels will look like crap on a black car. My suggestion is if you want black wheels just don't clean the brake dust off them and you will have the same results.[sm=roll.gif]

Well the trees can give that effect cause they are in the background... but thats basically what they'll look like is you go with a flat black. I would have no idea how to make gloss black wheels with Photoshop...
