help OVERFUELING PROBLEM!!

i just got a 87 iroc with a 350, it is gettin flooding bad, i smell the fuel the mas was unplugged. could that be the only problem? anyone have problems like i am??? anything will help...

That could be the problem. Double check the fuel filter, they are stainless steel lines, but it can still corrode and leak. O2 sensors are one of the deciding factors on how much fuel is introduced into the intake.

what about a fuel regulator? i had a friend who swaped a 89 v6 efi for a 305 carb he had problems with fuel but fixed it with a fuel regulator right before the carb....

If you use a FI fuel pump to feed a carb, you definetely need a pressure regulator with a return line set up. The FI pump puts out sbout 50 PSI, and a carb can only handle up to abour 10 PSI before the pressure overwhelms the carburator, resulting in serious flooding.
