Does anyone have any experience with one of these things?

I have a chance to pick this one up tomorrow with the pillar mount for $100.

Seems like a neat little toy, but no idea how accurate they are.

Who's had one that can fill me in on these?

 

are you going buy the exact thing shown in the picture or a different brand ?

 

I bought the exact one in the pic. Works pretty well as far as I can tell. Will know more in the spring
