Default Post count minimum for Automotive for Sale

I vote for a post count minimum to make a post in Automotive for Sale. I don't care if there is one for people looking to buy in there or not. There are too many posts from people selling things and parting cars out and never coming back. And then people just keep coming in and requesting things from them months and months after the the ad was made. It is really sloppy and could be better with a bit of control.

We are currently taking action to correct the situation with the classifieds. We have installed iTrader and I dont think that it will be a problem to do what you asked. I like the suggestion

Good, I saw the iTrader thing. It looks like a great idea. The swap meet area can be a huge benefit, prices should be required up front too when the ad is posted. I have gotten so much stuff for my car this way off of the Internet. I had thought I would need to get a roller to get the parts, now I have pretty much all of them. Good Luck.

One thing to remember, untill (and even if) we get the post count thing figured out... Always use paypal to guarantee the funds and if there is a problem paypal can deal with it.

The thing about paypal, if the person sends you a brick in a box, all you have is proof of receipt by signing for it or it being left at the delivery location. They won't have your back with that.

I am here and on ebay and a few more great sites,The Itracker is good..

If you do happen to get a brick in a box on a paypal deal..remember..when you make a paypal deal..you get the address from who you are getiing it from and you can get them for mail fraud. no matter if it is sent ups usps or fedex..its all the same. I am new here..beacause i just bought a 96 CamaroRS and am restoring a 68 RS/SS and a 69 Camaro. And want to buy and trade parts. When will this be fixed? Thanks,Erick

After 10 posts members will be switched automatically to a new user group allowing them access to the Classifieds, Private Messages and other things.
