A cousin own a 4th Generation Camaro and looking for an aftermarket alarm. Does anyone have installed an aftermarket alarm in Camaro? He is planing to buy Viper-DEI 5901, but want to know your views and advice before any purchase.

Get it done professionally, that's my advice. The last 5 years of car alarms are so complicated to wire up, it's a pain in the butt and unless you have a wireing scematic of the car it's going in, it's uderly impossible. I have a viper alarm and love it, but it was professional installed, I'm never going to install another alarm.
