there were strobe lights in my car when i bought it but i dont know how to get them working

well each strobe most likly goes to a control box somewhere hiden near by....then off of that should be a power and a neg...if that doesn't work you could have some bad strobes....or the wires from the control box to the light bulb is broken somewhere...
