Does your stereo have an option to turn the main wires into low output? That's the only thing I can really think it could be. You got me stumped man.

system setup maybe? I don't know dude, I know there are a few players out there that have that option. Or the option to turn the wired outputs off and only use the RCA outputs, but that would leave you not hearing a thing.

Where's FIE coming from?

Never mind i looked it up...its Front Image Enhancer. I dont know what is does i was just wondering if that was it. Im beginning to think there not getting enough power so i might get a 300 watt amp 90 continuous power. Amps are so expensive though lol.

You could try hooking up one of the fronts and see what's happens then. If it does the same thing, then it could be the player.

The problem though is the front speakers are half behind the door panel so I would have to take it off to do that. I had to turn it up to 60 to get a decent level of sound but there's no way my other speakers could go that loud it would blow them lol. Well I'm going to wait a few days because my friend is asking some people at his work about the problem. I'll probaly end up getting an amp though.

they have factory wiring. I noticed that the sub in the back has 5 wires going to it so it probaly has a built in amp. So could that be taking a lot of watts to run causing the 2 speakers I'm trying to put in not get enough? Oh ya and I used 18 guage wire.. Is that ok?
