Is the fade adjusted to the front? Did you get new rear speakers, and if so, what is the ohm rating on them?

Do you have the fade all the way to the front? If not that, then do the below items.

Ok, do the other speakers volume sound right? Take one of the rear speakers and hook it up to the front and tell me what happens. If it sounds the same, then take rear speaker and hook it up directly to a set of speaker wires coming out of the radio and tell me what happens.

If it all sounds the same, then it's the speakers. What's the watts of your speakers you put in? If they are not getting enough watts, then they are not going to get close to their max dB.

They should be working fine, check the fade, I would bet that's what's going on there.

I don't know about the bose system, but the monsoon rear seat speakers are 2 ohm and powered from the factory amp. If the bose is the same way, then the new 4 ohm speaker will not be that loud.

yeah, that could also be it. I bet that when you hook them up directly to the cd player they will sound fine. If you wanted to, you could run new wires from the cd player to the speakers and that would work.

I already ran i wire to the new speaker. There wasnt one there to begin with. Its not the fade because i had it on rear right and turned it up to 30 and i could still barely hear it.

I guess I am confused. Are these the speakers right by the passengers, or the ones in the rear panels? I was under the impression that you replaced the speakers that were blown (rear seat ones), and am confused as to why you had to run wire.

To me that would be a sign of a blown speaker, maybe someone else would have some insight. I'm sorry dude, I don't know what else to try unless you can hook it up to another radio and see what happens then, then you could rule out it being blown if it sounds good.

It's not blown because i hooked it up to a house stereo and it worked fine. The speakers are 30 nominal and 180 max. I even unhooked the sub and wired the wires to the speaker and it still was really low. Its the rear passenger sides.
