Default Steering wheel audio controls...

If you replace the factory CD Stereo on a 2000 Chevy Camaro, will you still be able to use the steering wheel controls with an aftermarket stereo ?

These things must be extremely rare because I have never heard of them.
I'm sure in a year or so these things will be common for every car.
