Replaced my stock bose deck and rewired it but..

Default Replaced my stock bose deck and rewired it but..

Ok so i rewired and replaced my stock cd player and got the GM insert so that i could put my deck in there but now that its all wired up and plugged in there isnt any sound... What do i do? I made sure all the wires matched andI connected em all together but still no sound. Any ideas?

The only thing i can think of is maybe you got ahold of a bad deck.Ive installed multiple head units for members of the family and a few for people that had to pay.But ive never run into that problem.Maybe,check your connections again.Sorry i couldnt be more help.http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/j...ic101407_8.jpgTheres a pic of the stereo i put in my monte....just to show i have installed stereos lol

Ah. No i figured it out when i went thru and wired it we forgot to do one of the wires so it didnt have sound. I have sound now. Thanks anyway.

rule of thumb i use, always hook it all up and test it before you mount it in the dash.. once its all wired and everything works.

then put it in the dash to avoid pulling it apart x -2

thats what i did, thats how i figured out what the problem was, we got the power ant. wire mixed up with another and thought they were the same thing.
