Default Where can i pick up an oem Delco Bose deck?

Where can i get a CD player to replace my current one? The CD player doesnt work, but Car Toys told me if i wanted the CD player to work id have to get a new Delco Bosehead unit OR a whole new system... and i cant afford that yet... lol.. Is there a site that sells em? I found one on ebay for close to 200 dollars.. and thats a horrible rip off.. considering i can get a good amp and head unit for about that much.

This site has used ones. Or if it's broke, these guys fix 'em.

No, you won't have to change the whole system.

Ebay!

And the stock Bose speakers are a 2ohm speaker, so good luck finding a good amp to drive those puppies without swapping them out! Theoretically possible, but not practical, if you want a different audio system you're best off just doing the whole thing.

He's wanting to know if he can add an amp and sub to the system, not power the Bose speakers with an amp. He won't need to do anything to the rest of the system to do so.

You can get an aftermarket head unit and still have the bose system work. Most cars with an optional stereo system use the power antenna wire in the dash as the remote wire for the amp.

So... it IS possible to get a new aftermarket head unit, hook it up to the bose speakers/amp (or w/e) and add the F-Body "Stealth" housing, put 10s in there and an amp to power the subs hook those all up so that everything works harmoniously? (is that a word?)
