Default Radio problems

I have a loose wire in my radio that is also affecting my power windows (98 V6 3800 auto). When the radio cuts off, the power windows don't work. I know the loose wire is under my glove box somewhere, but I don't want to accidentally pull the airbag cord, thinking it is the radio. Any info on why the windows won't work when the radio doesn't? I've checked the fuses and they are good.

ya man it sounds like the power wire that your cd players accesory is plugged into is coming loose. the reason why the windows dont work is because the power wire is probably for the windows and your cd player is just feeding off that same wire. GM does some weird stuff. My advice to you is just take it to either a mechanic or an electronics installation bay, that way if they set off the airbags, they'll have to replace them.
