hey, im only 15 and i dont know too much about cars. i have a radar dectector and 1 cord with it, the cord has two wires coming off of it and i need to know what to do. dose it plug into the lightersocket? because theres no cord to it, or do i splice it and connect it to wires and run it to the batt???? please tell me i have no clue.

any tips will be ggreatly appreaciated

 

Run it down into your fuse box inside the car.
Just pick an accesory fuse pull it out put the wires in, then push the fuse in over the wires.
No it should turn on when you start the car.

 

or you can run it to the accessory in the back of ur deck, thats what i did

 

i would go wid skippy but connect it to the yellow for a constant so that way your stereo wont have to be on
