I'll help you (or try to).
The channels on your amp are generally used for how many speakers you want to amplify. Take for example, my a4300 amp. It is a 4 channel, 300 watt amp. The 4 channels power my 4 speakers, so 75 watts per speaker.
2 channel amps are usually used to power a subwoofer, and is usually bridged to combine the two channels into one. I think this is all covered in Hiss' sticky... you might wanna check on that.

My answer wasn't too bad was it?

Hiss I finished my system. Thought you might wanna hear what I put in it.
All 4 of my speakers are JL Audio VR 650-cxi's. The a4300 is pushing those.
I have two 12" W3v3 drivers and a 500/1v2 powering them. The box is just a sealed "custom" Camaro box. I used 4 gauge wires... Whattya think??

Oh and the headunit is a Pioneer Deh-P6900. Weigh in! Bonus points if you can guess what it metered at!

I am a fan of JL, but I am not a fan of their price tag.

I can guarantee it didn't meter near what it should if You had a shop build You a custom box.

Good call on the head unit, and good call on buying a seperate amp for the speakers.

What did it meter? And was it outlaw?

The box isn't custom, necessarily. It is made specifically for Camaros to fit in the hatch area... if that makes any more sense. The highest it metered at was 137.4, but that was just using a burned cd, not a USAC disc or anything. I don't know what outlaw is [&:]

well a mono block amp is a single channel amp. its not made to push two subs. if you do hook up 2 subs tho no it will not send 750w to each sub
