Berger Panel Rattle With Subwoofers
I remember from a long time ago, finding a post somewhere on how to fix this, but could not find it.
Basically I've had a sub in my car ever since i got it.
I finally got around to upgrading and now i have a JL12W6V2
It hits crazy hard, but now my Berger panel rattles outside the car.
If i put all of my weight on it, it wont rattle.
I plan to take my Berger panel off and paint it, so I figured I'd fix that while I'm there.
Any ideas?
I've never taken it off before so I'm unsure about what else is back there.
Also, I was thinking about dynamat, but i was worried about it getting wet from moisture and rotting/falling apart.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks ahead of time.

That tail panel shouldn't be rattleing unless there's a bolt missing along the middle section. Most rattleing on fbody's comes from the lincense plate or the spoiler. Make sure you got all the bolts in that thing, they are pretty easy to spot.

Everything is tight, and the license plate doesn't rattle at all.
It's only the berger panel.
I have another one I'm prepping for paint right now, When I swap them, I'll mess with it more and Let you all know the dealio.

I just want to clear something up here, it's not called a berger panel. It's a tail panel, a berger panel is on a special edition berger camaro from the berger chevy dealer. And it really should be called a big block panel, because all the block camaro's in the 60's had a black tail panel.
Sorry, just erk's me when people call things something they aren't.
And back on topic, is there any cracks in the tail panel? I've installed some insaine systems in camaro/TA's and have never had the tail panel rattle. Your's is be the first I've heard of rattling. Are the tail lights in good? I mean I've got two 12's in my trunk that have been measured at 136 dBs and my tail panel doesn't rattle, the trunk lid and the spoiler rattle and that's it. The lincense plate did, but fixed that, can't fix the other stuff.

Ber. Er.
Tail Panel has no cracks.
Tail lights are in correctly, and tight.
No Spoiler rattle, and no license plate rattle.
If I push against the panel, or against either tail light it isn't as intense, which is weird.
Maybe something behind it?

There really isn't anything behind the tail panel, just the body structure of the trunk. Are the two nuts on either end of the tail panel tight? There's those and then two in the middle. I wish I could give you more man.
