hey bclewis, as far as you not wanting to cut the dash up in your 69, you have several options.1 good ol shaft radio.2 metra and ami makes an universal drop box kit that can be used.3 go custom and creative.Example center consoule, glove box etc.4 run the shaft up front and you can always go with a rf modulated cd changer.Im not to sure if the shafts have changer controls.Ive been in this field for 15 years and am really surprised that pioneer and kenwood still have the same shafts(well different internal amps) plus some cosmetic changes.IF you need anything else or anyone for that matter, feel free to ask.

hey guys, i got a 89 camaro, and i wanted to put some subs in the back. i no theres not alot of room in the trunk, so i was thinking about just building like the top of a box and placeing it in that "trunk space". basically creating a complete box...is there any special way that i would have to build this box. like does it matter wat kind of sub's im goin to be putting in there.....cause i heard that Box designs r importante...

Depends on how much air space your subs required.Yes box specs are Very important. If you are just wanting to throw a piece of wood down over the hole back there, then i would go with free air subs.If not, then you would need some fiberglass, polly fill and liquid nails or silicone to seal the seams. What type and size subs are you wanting to use?I have an 84 and i measured and had a little over a cubic foot of air space there without removing the carpet etc.Other option is to reverse mount the subs.

i was wondering if anyone has blueprints for a sub enclosure that would fit in a 94 camaro z28, for two 12" subs or two 12" s and two 10"s

80z/28,

Fitting two tens in the trunk is not a big deal, but the trunk is small to begin with so it doesnt take much to lose most of the trunk space, if you dont want one big box you can get two single boxes that are a little more flexible as far as moving them around in the trunk. I have 4 8's in my '78 but then again I took up my whole trunk just for audio gear.
