Default anti theft

hey everyone, i was wondering what types of security or anti theft devices you guys have on your pre-VATS cars...the chip in the key. i was thinking wither a full on immobilizer like a switch that you need to turn in order for the car to start, or something like that. I have come across numerous cars that have gotten broken into or stolen, and dont want thhis to happen to me if i get a car of this type.
thanks guys

A hidden switch that interupts the coil or the fuel pump. You could splice into your ignition switch and put an interuppter on the wire for the starter selnoid.

I got a Small clip-on peice that I can remove. When removed, the car won't start, even with keys. Dunno how, or what it does, but It's nifty.
