So how about a link to the specs behind the computer and software? I assume Mac Mini, but what apps do you have running and what's the interface shell behind it all? I see you have a Firefox button, so I am curious how you are supporting your wireless connectivity? I would also love to know what the display details are and how that's connected... TIA

Nice job man, I am highly impressed. How long do these projects take you? How'd you make a custom console for window controls and everything?

Hey guys. Sorry I haven't updated this. I haven't really touched my car this past year. I've drove it 25 miles this year. Been busy with school and other toys.

It's running windows xp with a skin that I made for roadrunner. It's just running wifi.

Great job so far.. For your computer, I'd recommend going with a solid state drive since a its in a car. Speed bumps and the like will really beat your hdd to death.

I've never had a problem with my hard drive, even with sub zero weather. Now that this is only my toy and never sees bad weather I'm less worried. That can be debated about as much as mounting them horizontal or vertical. If anything were to happen I think I would mess with the idea of a mac mini.

I drive around with my laptop in my van powered on sitting on the floor or behind the seat on edge, done it for years, no issues yet...
