The trouble with the BOSE setup kinda depends on which one it is. One setup will have amplifiers built right onto the back of each speaker, if this is the case you are better off running new wires. If it does not have amps right on the speakers it then will have a seperate power amp somewhere in the car, now with that setup you can just use the factory wires. IF you want to swap head units be prepared to spend a little more money because the average basic chevy stereo plug will not work with the bose systems.
