Default ZR1 vs. SS wheels

Hey guys i need some opinions on which looks better. I have a 99' Z28 its pewter with t-tops. Right now I have a set of silver ZR1 rims on it and it looks pretty good but I can score a set of 02' style SS rims brand new out of the box from a friend for $400. What do you think?

What year ZR-1 rims??

If they are the new ones then yes you need to use the facepalm emotiocon for the question, if they are the first gen ZR-1 then go for the SS rims....

lol yes they are the first gen ZR1's. Should have the SS rims in a few days. He was gonna keep the BFG G-sports that were mounted on them but he's goin with 18's so i'll be getting the rims with the tires for $550. Less than 1,000mi on everything. Too good to pass up.

I wish somebody made the 3rd gen Iroc rims with the proper backspacing to fit 4th gen cars. I think a set of chrome 17'' or 18'' Irocs would look sweet on my car.

I paid 80 for a set of chrome SS wheels and 100 for zr1's with brand new tires. Id say keep what you got or wait for a better deal.

I now have my $170 chrome zo6 wheels now

I bought the new GM issued ss rims and tires, i looked at those replicas but theres no quality in them. A friend bought a set and they pitted they are junk, but they look good on your car.
