Winter Tires
#11
Hate to bring back a dead thread, but after getting stuck pulling into my driveway (it dips at the beginning) I finally said it was time to put some winter tires on. Ended up going with some 225/60/R16 SnowTrakker tires from Wal-mart. $95 a piece ($212 for both before tax) and I'm sooo much happier.
Came home and she went up the driveway without a hiccup. Decided to test them out so I backed halfway down my driveway (~200ft), stopped, and gave it a little gas and without effort she pulled back up to the house. To put this perspective, I couldn't even go down my driveway this morning to go to work and had to had to borrow my dads truck. I knew winter tires would make a difference, but I'm amazed. I'm not going to mind driving places now!

I prefer any studded snow tire. Never got an F body stuck with those. Not even on steep inclines. Usually cheaper then newer designed tires as well. Sounds like you made a good choice though. As long as your happy, that's what counts.
