Default tire rotation tread depths

So I rotated the tires on my car today(front to back), and it appears that my one front tire wore more then the other, both tires wore evenly but one tire definately has more tread left. So how much trouble could this cause for my rear end? I dont have anything to measure tread depth so I cant tell exactly what the difference is but when should I start to worry about it or will it be okay?

Car is an 02 ss.

Pick yourself up a gauge & measure the depth on all four.

IF you over inflate your tires you can get uneven wear. If you do not rotate as recommend, you will get different wear front to rear. Be sure you are checking your tire pressure regularly.

Ya maybe they werent rotated properly by the last owner. I only drive it in the summer and put on 5000kms, so I rotated them now. But will this now cause damage to my rear end or what should I do? My now front ones are almost done.
