Question Min offset?

I made some research on the forum but didn't find a clear answer.

What's the minimum wheel offset for 8" rims on a 4gen Camaro?
I know that 48 offset is the stock size and 0 offset don't fit, but what about intermediate 20, 25 or 35 offset?

8 in wheel

Tire edge outside fender = +13mm
Tire edge slightly inside fender = +29mm
Tire edge matches stock SS/WS6 wheel = +38mm
Tire edge matches stock wheel = +55mm

Hi Craby.
I didn't really understand your answer but I found a used set of 17X8.5 in. wheels and the offset in 15.
245/40/17 tires in front and 255/40/17 in rear.

Do the wheels fit my Camaro?

that would put the outside of the tire about even with the outside of the fender, to far imo. tire will rub on heavy bumps and chew up the tires.

Today, I found a C5 corvette five-spokes wheels set for sale.
Original GM. Chrome finish.

17 X 8.5 (offset 58mm) in front
18 X 9.5 (offset 65mm) in rear.

Will they fit my Camaro without rubbing? The car isn't lowered.

Or do I need spacers in rear?

I would like to mount 245/45R17 and 245/40R18 tires.

Thanks...

lets bump this up, i think you will need small spacers to make it look right. they will tuck way in and you may have to do some hammering on the fenderwell to prevent rubbing.

Yeah for the rears you will need to hammer out the fenderwell and maybe run a spacer. Max offset for a 17x9 is around 63, going to to an 18x9.5 makes it even worse.
