Default iroc rims

I was wondering if 89 iroc z rims would fit on my 95 camaro? Will it look dumb and will it be expensive to get them to fit right?

Yes, yes they will. They will stick out a little ways, however. They have a different back spacing than the salad shooters. Give me a sec, I should have pics of 3rd gen wheels on my Camaro here somewhere.

Believe it or not this is the only pic I have show them from the side. Could have sworn I had pics of them painted. Imagine them Graphite instead of silver. I don't seem to have any good side shots of the car either.

IMO, as a rule of thumb, putting newer-style wheels on an older car usually looks good. Putting older-style wheels on a newer car does not.

As far as handling goes, the wider track might make it handle slightly better, but the effect would be pretty much negligible. But IMO the style and the poke would look like crap.

It does help with handling a little bit, so long as you have wide enough tires to utilize the extra track. But it's still not going to handle like a Corvette would.

I personally like the way they look, but even so, I'm looking for a set of chrome wheels since chrome really makes the car pop.

I had a set of iroc wheels for a set of drag radials I had when I first bought my car, they looked terrible, but did the job. Will see if I can find a picture

**EDIT**

here you go

To tell you the truth, I actually like the 3rd Gen rims better than the chrome stock rims... I might just go and snag my 92 RS rims and put them on the 98....
