Default did i buy the wrong size wheel

I purchased a set of ZR1 replicas, size is 17x9.5, 56mm offset with a 7.5 inch back spacing. In my haste I hit buy when these were not under the Camaro area. I have seen where people have commented that they have these on their Camaro, but not sure if they clear the front with this back spacing. I was planning on going with the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500, 275/40/17. section width 10.9, tread width 9.4. Does anyone have these wheels on the front and what size of tire? Would anyone know if these would clear before I order tires? Thanks

SLP specs show the offset at 2" and the backspace at 7". 56MM conversion to inches equals 2.2047". I don't have any personal experience in how the difference effects the clearances. I'm sure somebody who has will post their outcomes. I've attached a pdf of SLP's wheel spec sheet that I saved from 2003.

Thanks peterpar. I put one wheel on and tightened, maybe an 1/8 inch clearance before putting on a tire. Tire shop suggested using a spacer, but really don't like using spacers. Will most likely go sell then buy the correct size.

You may be able to send the wheels back to the company in exchange for the correct offset if yours end being the wrong size.

Where are you getting an 1/8” of clearance? The inner fender well or the edge of the quarter panel?

According to this, you’ve got the right size.

And according to this, I’m running the EXACT same size wheels that you bought. 17x9.5 with 56mm offset. I’ve been running this fitment for 6 years with no issues. I’ve ran everything from a 225 wide tire all the way up to a 275 wide tire on all 4 corners with no problems at all. It’s the factory wheel size/offset for SS 4th gens and WS6 4th gens. Hopefully that answers your question. Here’s pics of the fitment once on the ground.
