Default Cragar ss or similar

Hey guys, I really want to find a set of cragar ss wheels, or something similar such as weld stars or centerlines. I want the old school drag wheel look, but im just going to run street tires on them, can someone point me in the right direction? Im hoping to find some on kijiji but most of them are 15", will this clear my brake calipers? If they will, whats the minimum backspacing I would need? I dont know too much about sizing rims so any help would be appreciated

We need info on your car; v6, v8? tire size you want to run?

Some brands to lookup that might fit your style:

Weld (Alumastars)
Prostar
Bogart
Forgestars

Those are brands off the top of my head that have some sort of drag style wheel.

Sorry about that, I have a v8. I have found a good set of cragars on kijiji, they are 15x7 front and 15x8 rear, the rears are 275's. Really hoping these will fit my car as they are a good deal

Should really go with a wider wheel. A 275 tire is about as big as you can go on an 8 inch rim, and SS/WS6 cars came standard with 9 inch wide rims. I would definately look for a 9 or 9.5", you can do bigger such as a 10.5" but you will need to hammer out the fenderwell

Ok, but my main concern is the 15" part, is that going to clear my caliper? I've heard of people having to grind calipers and don't really want to get into that

This thread has some info for you here:

15" rims on 02 F body - LS1TECH

Depending on brand of wheel and backspacing, some grinding may be required. Seems Bogart though is a direct fit with no grinding. Backspacing should be 5.5" for a wider than 8" rim
