Default Anyone else had similar problem

Just curious to see if anyone else has had other people messing with your car. Our 13 LT1 with dealer tags 470 miles was in our covered parking space and someone decided to key it. From top of the bumper on the driver side into the hood about 14 inches long. It started off shallow on the plastic bumper but got deeper you could tell them started from outside and moved toward the center of the hood. This did go down to metal im thinking more of a knife then a key. Just curious to see if anyone else had a jealous neighbor.

No, luckily. But that can sometimes depend on where you live. If it were my car, I'd install a dash cam. If I caught someone doing that to my car, he'd have no working knees left!

Back when I was in college for automotive mechanic, someone keyed the heck out of my car. I was livid. The issue is that the college also had a "STEP" program (Secondary Technical Education Program), where high school kids can get a jump start into college, and they park where we do.

To add insult to injury, I've caught kids literally sitting ON my car. When I politely asked for them to get off it, they started an argument as if they had every entitlement to sit on anyone's car. Their buddies started surrounding me and my car trying to intimidate me. The situation didn't last too long. After I took a step towards them, they took an immediate U-turn and walked away. I brought up what happened at my next class, and I don't believe we ever really saw the kids loitering in the parking lot since that time. It appeared to me that the school dealt with the situation rather appropriately.

We lived in a fairly nice apartment community then management changed and anyone was allowed to move in and needless to say has gone down over the past few months. They were very lucky I did not catch them in the act being a resident in the great state of Texas I do have a chl and you would be lucky to catch me not exercising my right. I am just thankful I talked the old lady into have $0 deductibles.
