Z28 Exhaust on a V6?
Ive heard of people putting Z28 exhausts on V6's and it sounding pretty good, and I know someone that may have the exhaust of a 95 Z28. Would it maybe be worth buying (depending on price) to put on my V6? Also, I was wondering if it really would sound good, considering it is a little older..
what year car do you have?
yes if you have the right year it will work...the only difference is 2.5" pipes instead of 2.25" and dual outlet after muffler. If you can get a good price for it...go for it. Just the pipes will not change the sound that much, headers, hi flo cat, and a hi flo muffler will change it significantly tho

I have a 97, and the Z is a 95.. So the cat and the muffler is the same? Either way, I wouldnt mind having a dual exit from the muffler.. maybe get a new muffler one day.. Magnaflow maybe?
I have a flowmaster 80 series dual outlet ($100) but magnaflow is good too. I'm pretty sure 95-97 are the same...i think the exhaust changed slightly in 98. How much are you getting it for? Just keep in mind you can get a Flowmaster 3" Catback for about $290
